Birthday Shots!
In celebration of Kim and Todd's birthdays this week, I made a birthday jelly inspired by the princess herself. These birthday jelly shots are pink, sweet, and smooth! With a little whipped cream and sprinkles on top, they make for the perfect start to any birthday party!
Recipe:
Birthday Jelly Shots
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup cream (half and half will do)
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 1/2 pkg Knox gelatin
1 1/2 cup Tequila Rose
In a saucepan over medium heat, mix water, cream, and sweetened condensed milk. Once mixed well (and warmed), add the gelatin. Stir until dissolved. Continue to stir for another 2-3 minutes, or until liquid is hot (almost at boiling point). Remove from heat and add Tequila Rose. Stir. Pour liquid into a pan (I used a 8x8 pan). Refrigerate for at least 4 hours; best overnight.
To Serve: Cut into squares (dip sharp knife in hot water before cutting to make it easier). Place a dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with sprinkles. Enjoy!
